Course Description
CAP & GOWN is a prep course customized to equip students with the skills needed to be successful in college application essay writing, competitive on college applications, proactive in scholarship hunting, and strategic in career planning.
Students receive a weekly one-on-one session and attend a weekly group session. Each one-on-one session is personalized according to the student's collegiate goals.
Group sessions include hands-on activities to boost writing skills, enabling students to brainstorm and write efficiently. College student speaker panels offer students a forum to discuss the best way to prepare for college - taking advantage of opportunities and avoiding pitfalls.
The group setting enhances motivation, creative thinking, confidence, and public speaking skills. Students also learn networking skills and build dynamic friendships.
